Reshetnev company developed a new state standard for Russian satellites

The development of the document, together with the Russian Institute for Standardization, took into account the practical experience of satellite manufacturers

The purpose of creating the state standard "Ensuring the resistance of spacecraft to the effects of electrification factors" is to form a unified technical quality policy for enterprises in the Russian rocket and space industry.

The methods described in the new regulatory document take into account current developments in the design and construction of spacecraft. They were shared by JSC "RESHEТNЁV". In particular, the GOST includes the technical groundwork of Zheleznogorsk residents in terms of ensuring the resistance of spacecraft to external factors, studying current models of the impact of the space environment, as well as technical solutions related to increasing energy resources and increasing the power of the payload.

The document also includes new effective approaches to protecting satellites from electrification. It is becoming increasingly necessary, as satellites are becoming more miniature, and their elements are becoming more sensitive to the effects of charged particle fluxes in space. A unified standard will help Russia produce satellites that are more resistant to external influences and can reliably function in orbit throughout their service life.

Earlier, Reshetnev company invented a new way to quickly manufacture waveguide sections for satellites. Now it takes only a few hours.
