Insiders from the Avtograd News public page have refuted the news that mass production of the Lada Aura has already begun. The cars will only start being produced in October.
Currently, two or three cars per shift are indeed passing through the assembly line, but these are so-called "project" cars for now.
According to insiders from the public page, mass production will start in late September or early October. First, 100 cars will be assembled over several shifts, then production will increase.
By the end of 2024, the company plans to create about 3,000 Lada Aura cars. The car should receive a 122-horsepower engine in combination with a CVT.
As a reminder, AvtoVAZ assured that in terms of comfort, the premium Lada Aura car even surpasses the Toyota Camry. The top version of the car is equipped with a premium audio system, leather interior, and a rear sofa with massage.
