Effective Enemy Engagement: Footage of the Latest Russian OF-843B Mine

Presumably, the munition is made of cast iron

A new OF-843B mine has entered service with the Russian Armed Forces. Footage has appeared on social networks.

This is a 120 mm caliber projectile. Presumably, the mine is made of cast iron and filled with TD-70 explosive — TNT with dinitronaphthalene in a ratio of 70/30.

More precise characteristics of the projectile are currently unknown. The Russian military has 120 mm caliber 2B11 and 2S12 Sani mortars at its disposal.

Earlier it became known that Russia has launched serial production of the Vizir surface drone. It is controlled by artificial intelligence, without operator intervention.
