Russian military personnel on the front lines received muzzle attachments for the Kalashnikov assault rifle, which allow them to hit kamikaze drones with buckshot. This is a cylindrical product 25 centimeters long, resembling a silencer.
The whole set consists of an attachment that carries one piece of ammunition, 12-gauge cartridges and blank cartridges. The "Drone Killer" is installed instead of the muzzle brake of the machine gun. Special cartridges contain 80-100 grams of solid buckshot, which can hit an approaching FPV drone.
This is our signature anti-drone weapon — muzzle attachments for AK-74 or AK-12. It allows you to fire a 23-millimeter high-explosive fragmentation projectile from the ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun from a machine gun. Or a buckshot charge. In fact, it turns a Kalashnikov assault rifle into a hand-held grenade launcher with a range of up to 400 meters. And the initiator of the shot is an ordinary 5.45x39 blank cartridge.
Earlier, footage of the work of "air motherships" for drones on the front line appeared on the Web. UAV carriers of FPV drones are also equipped with repeaters for stable communication.
