Updated shipborne remotely controlled combat modules "Narwhal" developed by NPO Elektromashina (part of the Uralvagonzavod concern of the Rostec State Corporation) have begun to be installed on military boats. They have already successfully passed acceptance tests.

The promising module was developed according to new technical requirements under a state contract. It differs from the basic model in improved characteristics and a large set of functions: the computing module has been modernized, the control unit has been improved, and a new sight with new matrices with a higher resolution has been applied. In addition, the body itself has become more protected.

With the efforts of specialists from the technological, design and service departments of Elektromashina in Sevastopol, Narwhal combat modules were mounted on military boats, after which they successfully passed acceptance tests.

The concern emphasized that the combat modules were manufactured in the shortest possible time. The production of special products was carried out both at the serial and experimental sites of Elektromashina, and debugging and configuration in three shifts in a specialized laboratory.

Earlier, footage of the operation of "air motherships" for drones on the front line appeared online. UAV carriers of FPV drones are also equipped with repeaters for stable communication.
