Планету накрыло: сильнейшая магнитная буря началась на Земле

After the release of solar energy in the western hemisphere, the auroras sparkled

The strongest magnetic storm covered the Earth on September 17. It caused auroras in the western hemisphere of the planet — throughout Canada and in the northern states of the United States.

«A jump in the parameters of the surrounding space gas was recorded at approximately 1:30 Moscow time, and the most significant changes occurred around 4:30 in the morning»

At that moment, the strength of the magnetic storm was 3.66 points out of five.

The expected magnetic storm started much later than expected, noted Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, in his Telegram channel. The main part of the solar matter only slightly touched the planet. Throughout yesterday and most of last night, the Earth's magnetic field was "in a slightly disturbed state," but did not reach the level of a magnetic storm.

«And only in the second half of the night, after 3 a.m. Moscow time, did a denser mass of ejection cover the planet, which led to a sharp start of a magnetic storm, which immediately reached the level of very strong, class G4!»
Mikhail Leus, leading specialist at the Phobos weather center

The magnetic storm, the intensity of which sometimes reached a very strong level, lasted on our planet for several hours in a row. Gradually, it began to subside and will completely stop by the evening.

Magnetic storms can affect people with cardiovascular diseases, high or low blood pressure — at this time there is an uncontrolled narrowing and expansion of blood vessels. Among the symptoms of weather dependence caused by magnetic storms, experts note migraines, headaches, muscle pain, apathy and general weakness. However, Russian physicist Anatoly Petrukovich is sure that changes in weather conditions, atmospheric pressure, or abnormal heat have a much greater impact on a person's condition during magnetic storms.

From the end of July to the beginning of August, strong magnetic storms were observed on Earth. During this period, the northern lights were visible over St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. Another magnetic storm occurred in mid-August and last week.
