Большой глаз следит за тобой: под Саратовом протестировали технологию компьютерного зрения

The system was used to identify and detain citizens on the federal wanted list

In the Saratov region, computer vision technology created by the CRT Group was successfully tested. The project was initiated by the regional security department, which collaborated with the police.

The pilot project to implement an innovative security system started in Saratov six months ago. Its goal is to prevent possible crimes and administrative offenses. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Saratov Region praised the effectiveness of this technology in creating a favorable urban environment. Thanks to the system, it has already been possible to identify several offenses, detect and detain persons on the federal wanted list.

Security is a basic, but not the only scenario for using computer vision technologies in the infrastructure of cities. This data in anonymized format can be used to analyze passenger traffic, for transport analytics.

According to company representatives, thanks to the system, it has already been possible to identify several offenses, detect and detain persons on the federal wanted list.

CRT employees are working on a technology for recognizing human silhouettes and sounds. It is being implemented in city cameras as part of the "Safe City" program.

Earlier www1.ru wrote that Ntechlab (the enterprise is part of the Rostec cluster) is also implementing AI-based solutions in the Saratov region to monitor security.
