The Russian low-observable drone "Geran-2" destroyed a self-propelled launcher 5P85S/D of the S-300PS medium-range anti-aircraft missile system. Military expert Evgeny Damantsev pointed out the capabilities of the new version of the drone.
The effective reflecting surface of the modernized version of which has decreased to less than 0.05 m², which made it impossible to detect and track it with the early version of the 30N6 illumination radar with a limited minimum RCS of the tracked target of 0.05 m².
Earlier it became known that Russia modernized the Geran strike kamikaze drones, equipping them with SIM cards and antennas. This modification helps to improve the accuracy of attacks.
