PC Transport Systems Company has presented a car for the Slavyanka tram line in St. Petersburg. This is a concession project of public transport on the route "Kupchino – Shushary – Slavyanka." This is reported by the press service of the tram manufacturer.
The Nevsky tram can be called the flagship of Russian tram construction, and we are proud that our cars will transport passengers along the new Slavyanka line.
The first tram will be transferred to BaltNedvizhService. Engineers will carry out commissioning works, configure the traffic control system on the line, and test the new car. All this is scheduled for the winter and will take place in Shushary, where the new depot is located.
The tram manufacturer will produce 22 cars for the concession project. As soon as the first section of the line is opened, ten trams will run along it. It will connect Kupchino and Shushary.
The remaining trams will run on the Slavyanka line when the second phase of construction is completed.
