Naval sailors of the Northern Fleet conducted exercises on anti-drone defense of ships in the Arctic. It took place in the Kara Sea.
According to the exercise scenario, a detachment of warships was attacked by drones and unmanned boats. The crews of the AK-630 and AK-100 artillery batteries, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms destroyed objects from various distances.
The commander of the large anti-submarine ship "Vice-Admiral Kulakov," Captain 2nd Rank Oleg Irza, emphasized that the ship's armament allows for the creation of a layered defense system.
In the seas of the Arctic Ocean, the Arctic group of the Northern Fleet includes the large anti-submarine ship "Vice-Admiral Kulakov," the tanker "Sergey Osipov," the rescue tugboat "Altai," and the large landing ship "Alexander Otrakovsky."
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russian troops on the front lines began using Molniya-1 aircraft-type drones. They are used to destroy mobile enemy groups, automotive and armored vehicles.
