Experts at the Avtostat agency have calculated that there are 2.18 million officially registered motorcycles in Russia. This is data as of July 1, 2024. We tell you which regions have the most bikers.
The largest number of motorcycles is in the Krasnodar Territory — 111.4 thousand vehicles. Moscow and the Saratov Region are in second place in terms of the number of motorcycles — 97.6 thousand and 95 thousand pieces. In the Tula region — 80.9 thousand motorcycles, and the Moscow region closes the top 5, where there are 73.5 thousand two-wheeled vehicles with internal combustion engines.
The most popular motorcycle was the "IZh". There are 600 thousand copies of this brand in the country, or 28% of the motorcycle fleet. In second place is "Ural", 277.2 thousand pieces. The third place is occupied by "Voskhod", — 192 thousand pieces.
In general, 56.5% of motorcycles in the country are of domestic origin. In second place is equipment from Japan, almost 13% of the fleet, in third place from Belarus — 6.5%.
