Russians Warned About Rising Prices in Driving Schools

In the fall of 2024, the cost of training in Russian driving schools may increase by 30-50%, reports the Telegram channel Mash. The main reasons for this increase include rising prices for gasoline and maintenance of training vehicles, a shortage of qualified instructors, as well as rising costs for renting premises and land plots.

Alexander Lytkin, chief expert of the national council for training and testing drivers of vehicles, noted that the current cost of training in Moscow is about 45-50 thousand rubles.

However, driving schools receive minimal profit from this amount and are forced to earn money on additional classes. In this regard, it is expected that some driving schools will raise tuition fees to compensate for increased costs and maintain the quality of services.

Thus, those who planned to learn to drive are advised not to postpone this process in order to avoid significant additional costs in the future.
