NPO "Belmag" has launched the production of ball joints and tie rod ends for LADA Largus, Lada Vesta, and GAZelle Next vehicles in Magnitogorsk. The production volume will be up to 360 thousand ball joints and up to 500 thousand tie rod ends per year.
Investments in production amounted to 300 million rubles, with the majority – 222 million rubles – provided by the Industrial Development Fund in the form of a concessional loan.
With the help of domestic ball joints and tie rod ends, AvtoVAZ and GAZ will replace imported parts that were previously purchased in Slovakia and South Korea.
Earlier, www1.ru wrote that AvtoVAZ is actively modernizing production. A record amount of 600 million rubles was allocated for this purpose.
