Resilient Predator: VysokoTochnost's Karakal Tracked Robot Makes First Appearance at Army-2024 Forum

It has a range of up to 150 km and can not only carry cargo, but also perform other tasks

The development of PJSC Kurganmashzavod (part of the High-Precision Complexes holding of the Rostec State Corporation), which was shown for the first time today at the Army-2024 forum, is distinguished by its lightness, endurance and a very wide range of applications.

The compact tracked robot has:

  • remote control system (RTK-L), which includes cameras, a thermal imager, a navigation system and a jam-resistant radio transmitter;
  • control with a remote control at a distance of up to 2 km, including at night;
  • the ability to move day and night;
  • carrying capacity - more than 500 kg;
  • range - 150 km.

At the same time, equipment for various purposes can be installed on the robot. VysokoTochnost notes that it can not only carry cargo, but also "perform other tasks".

The Army-2024 International Military-Technical Forum is being held at the Patriot Exhibition Center from August 12 to 14. This year, the Army forum is being held in a closed format for the first time: all entertainment events and free visits to the expositions for spectators have been canceled.
