The EP2DM series electric train is now equipped with Type-C connectors for charging electronic devices. The first train is already running on the MCD-4 (Kaluzhsko-Nizhegorodsky diameter). This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Maxim Liksutov.
A total of 604 Type-C charging connectors are available in the train. 32 in the head cars and 60 in the intermediate cars.
The first train equipped with Type-C has now been released on the route. Three more are undergoing commissioning and will soon begin transporting passengers.
New charging points can be found under the seats. The familiar USB connectors are also located there.
Earlier www1.ru reported that type-C chargers appeared in the "Moscow-2024" trains.
