Для братьев наших меньших: в Перми разработали метод создания минеральных добавок для диких животных

Two new feed compositions created

Specialists from Perm National Research Polytechnic University (PNRPU) and the State Agrarian Technological University have created a geoecological approach to creating complex mineral supplements for wild animals. This was reported by the university's press service.

Based on this method, scientists have proposed new compositions that will provide the animal's body with beneficial elements.

Hunting animals in the taiga-forest zone should receive not only macroelements (sodium, phosphorus, calcium, sulfur), but also a number of microelements (cobalt, copper, iodine, molybdenum) from feed. We have developed two versions of such a complex mineral supplement with the optimal ratio of additives: halite mixed with calcium orthophosphate; halite mixed with calcium dihydrogen orthophosphate and calcium carbonate.

The new approach will allow creating balanced mineral supplements. They will increase the effectiveness of biotechnical measures and improve the condition of wild animals in hunting farms.
