Rosenergoatom Concern, part of the Electric Power Division of the State Corporation (GC) Rosatom, will build technoparks in the Murmansk and Leningrad regions by 2030. This was reported by the corporation's press service.
Pilot technology sites will appear in Sosnovy Bor and Polyarnye Zori, in close proximity to nuclear power plants. In the future, such technoparks will be created near all nuclear power plants in the country.
The project operator is AtomTeploElectroSet, which will connect the sites to power supply. Technopark residents will be able to consume low-carbon electricity. It is expected that enterprises for the production of hydrogen, chemical fertilizers, and electronics will appear here.
