Tutaev Motor Plant Started Supplying Another Engine Modification for a New Bulldozer

New engine supplies have begun for the CHETRA T30.03 tracked bulldozer

Since June 2024, the Tutaev Motor Plant, a subsidiary of PJSC "KAMAZ", has started supplying 8523 diesel engines with cast iron cylinder heads for the new CHETRA T30.03 tracked bulldozer. This bulldozer is manufactured by the Cheboksary plant "Promtractor".

The CHETRA T30 model is an updated version, replacing the previous CHETRA T25 bulldozers. Weighing 52 tons and with an engine power of 507 hp, the new bulldozer is equipped with a TMZ 8523 diesel engine, which includes a cast iron cylinder head, an improved electronic control system, a turbocharger, and a gear-driven water pump that requires no maintenance. The bulldozer is capable of operating in extreme temperature conditions from -50 to +35ºC.

The production of engines with cast iron cylinder heads was mastered at the Tutaev plant in the spring of 2024, and serial deliveries to the Petersburg Tractor Plant began in May. As part of the preparation for production, six numerically controlled machining centers were installed. In the future, it is planned to replace aluminum cylinder heads with cast iron ones for other engine modifications as well.

The new bulldozer has already successfully passed tests at the testing ground of JSC UK "Kuzbassrazrezugol", demonstrating increased efficiency compared to foreign analogues both in the volume of moved rock and in fuel consumption.
