Specialists of SKB-1 (part of the military-industrial holding "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant", KMZ) have developed a towing hook designed for fastening and remote release of a 20 mm diameter towing cable, the holding's press service reported.
The towing hook has a simple and reliable design, which ensures its durability in operation.
Features of towing hooks from KMZ:
- installed on ships for towing other ships and barges with a displacement of up to 100 tons
- quick and safe disconnect mechanism
- removable design that can be removed from the deck
- weight — 50 kg
