The Kaliningrad-based Avtotor plant has published information about the "Amberauto A3" electric car on its website, which they want to sell in Russia. The information was later deleted. Insiders revealed details about the car.
It is claimed that the "Amberauto A3" is a rebranded Chinese Jmev Ev3. The car has been produced in China since 2019.
The car has compact dimensions and modest characteristics. Its length is 3729 mm, the electric motor's power is only 50 horsepower, and the maximum speed is limited to 100 kilometers per hour. The range can be up to 330 km.
Insiders do not rule out that the cost of the electric car will be more than 2 million rubles. It is unknown whether there will be demand for such a car, because it is slightly larger than the Сhevrolet Spark, but it is expensive.
