Specialists from Tomsk State University (TSU Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics) will create software for cooling electronics systems. This was reported by the university's press service.
The authors of the project plan to improve the efficiency of electronic devices.
The uniqueness of the project lies, among other things, in the development of a numerical algorithm on the cores of the video processor - this significantly increases the speed of calculations. In addition, the project team will write original program code for conducting numerical studies, which in the future will serve as a step towards creating our own domestic software packages.
In the future, scientists will create a comprehensive program. It will allow taking into account the features of different devices and reducing their temperature during operation.
This is applicable, for example, in radio electronics, in the energy sector, for any objects with a heating element - computers, telephones, routers, transmitters, in general, almost any modern electronic equipment.
Currently, specialists have created model programs for calculating the physical processes of hydrodynamics and heat transfer.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a new brand of domestic electronics will soon appear in Russia.
