The Russian Aerospace Forces have the Su-57 multirole frontline fighter at their disposal. It is designed to destroy all types of air targets, engage enemy surface and ground targets, monitor airspace at long distances from the base, and disable enemy command and control systems, headquarters, and command posts.
The assembly of Su-57 aircraft, like the Su-35S, takes place in the workshop of the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant named after Gagarin, which is part of the United Aircraft Corporation.
The enterprise celebrates its 90th anniversary in 2024, it has come a long way from a small construction site in the taiga to the largest military aviation equipment enterprise in Russia, UAC noted.
Over the years, 13 thousand aircraft have rolled off the stocks, and later from the assembly lines of the plant. Komsomolsk aircraft are in high demand today in combat conditions, they make an important contribution to the country's defense capability.
Earlier www1.ru reported that modernized Ka-27M helicopters entered service with the Pacific Fleet in Primorye. They are designed for anti-submarine warfare.
