Россия подвинет США на азиатском рынке оружия: Малайзия заинтересовалась покупкой истребителя Су-57

Sultan of Malaysia Orders Negotiations with Russia to Begin

Malaysian authorities are planning to begin negotiations with Russia in the near future regarding the purchase of a batch of multi-role fifth-generation Su-57 fighters. Sultan Ibrahim Ismail ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has involved one of the officials who worked under former Malaysian Defense Minister Najib Razak in this matter.

The person in question is Abdul Razak Baginda, who was behind the signing of contracts for the purchase of submarines and surface ships from the French company Direction des Constructions Navales. Malaysia's defense policy requires it to balance between the US, Russia, and China.

Now, the ruler of the Asian state has turned his attention to the Su-57. Even the US authorities cannot prevent him from making this deal. It is assumed that the delivery of these fighters to Malaysia will seriously strengthen the authority of the defense industry, and Russia will overtake the US in the Asian arms market.
