Хищник вышел на охоту: ВС России получили первый FPV-дрон «Пиранья-13»

The drone can perform remote mining and deliver ammunition

Russian military personnel on the front lines have received the first Piranha-13 FPV drone. The drone can perform remote mining, drop various types of ammunition, and deliver water, food, and ammunition to remote positions.

The development of the new drone began at the request of one of the units on the line of combat contact and lasted about six months. Now, local mining using the "Piranha" will create serious problems on the routes of transfer of equipment and supply routes of the enemy.

With the help of such UAVs, it is possible to mine specific areas — roads, established routes, that is, not to create hundreds of meters of mined territory in an open field, but locally.

"Piranha-13" is an improved model that is equipped with all the systems of its predecessors, but also has a number of additional features: a camera stabilization system, a quick-release battery mount, a system for stabilizing the aircraft in case of failure of one or two engines, and the possibility of installing several for multispectral operation.

Earlier www1.ru reported that modernized Ka-27M helicopters have entered service with the Pacific Fleet in Primorye. They are designed for anti-submarine warfare.
