Обмани мошенника: Т-Банк тестирует новый сервис по борьбе с телефонными аферистами

Access to the service will be opened in stages

T-Bank has announced the acceptance of applications for those wishing to join its experimental fraud roulette service "Trap for Scammers." It is planned to intercept fraudsters' calls in real time and redirect them to the experiment participants. This was reported by the bank's press service.

The service is based on the T-Defense platform. It includes anti-fraud technologies (combating fraud) of T-Bank and T-Mobile. The idea of the project is to mislead telephone fraudsters and teach users self-defense skills against them.

Fraud roulette will work according to one algorithm:

  • T-Bank will detect a fraudster's call in real time.
  • The call will be anonymously forwarded to the fraud roulette participant's phone.
  • The fraudster will be sure that he is talking to the victim.
  • The player will be warned about the conversation with the attacker. The call will begin with the message: "Attention, fraud roulette scammer is on the line."
  • The player's task is to keep the fraudster on the line as long as possible.
The service is still in early piloting mode, and we are now connecting the first testers, including those who have experience in pranks or those who are mentally prepared for a possible telephone conflict with scammers.

Access to the service is planned to be opened in stages, by invitation. It will appear in the chat, push notification, or stories of the T-Bank mobile application of the user, along with instructions for connecting.

An application for participation in the experiment can be left on the website https://фрод-рулетка.рф/. After approval of participation, the service tester will be able to invite one friend.

It is worth noting that the fraud roulette has already been tested by several dozen specialists. They were in contact with scammers for 25-20 minutes. This will make it possible to disable an entire call center of telephone scammers in a month.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that a new telephone fraud scheme has appeared in Russia.
