Исследует акваторию, буровые платформы и трубопороводы: Ростех разработал систему видеонаблюдения для подводных беспилотников

The complex allows you to get a clear picture, regardless of the speed of the drone

The Roselectronica holding (part of the Rostec Group) has created a video surveillance system for underwater unmanned vehicles. The development is planned to be used for monitoring water areas, pipelines and drilling platforms. This was reported in the company's press service.

The complex operates on the basis of special programs with contrast-limited histogram equalization technology (a method of increasing contrast) of the image. This allows you to get a high-quality picture regardless of the speed of the drone.

The system can record for 50 hours at a depth of up to 3 meters. The distance to the monitoring object is from 2 to 5 meters.

The complex is equipped with a monochrome video camera, a control unit and a powerful lamp. Camera resolution — 2048x1536 pixels with a viewing angle of 52°.

The Research Institute of Television (part of the Roselectronica holding) was engaged in the development of underwater vision systems.

Imported cameras are located outside underwater vehicles, which makes it difficult to use them in difficult conditions. The development of the Research Institute of Television solves all these problems, it is integrated into the drone's body and allows you to get highly detailed images.
Alexey Nikitin, General Director of the Research Institute of Television

The novelty has been tested and has already received positive feedback from the customer.

Earlier www1.ru reported on the Russian complex for underwater works, which showed Roselectronica.
