Kaspersky Lab presented Kaspersky Appicenter at INNOPROM — a platform for developers of applications on KasperskyOS. It includes the necessary tools for creating, managing, and distributing applications.
To work with Kaspersky Appicenter, you need to:
- go through the registration procedure on the portal;
- go to the portal and download the SDK for developing applications for a specific hardware platform;
- sign an agreement with Kaspersky Lab for the distribution of applications.
The first product available in Kaspersky Appicenter is the new version of the Kaspersky IoT Secure Gateway 3.0 (KISG) gateway on the domestic Kraftway "Rubezh N" hardware platform. Now, Kaspersky Lab partners and third-party software developers will be able to create their own applications for KISG gateways.
KISG are cyberimmune gateways that are developed and promoted by Kaspersky Lab's subsidiary, NPO Adaptive Industrial Technologies (Aprotech). They are used, in particular, in large industries, energy, transport and logistics infrastructure, petrochemistry, in "smart city" and "smart building" projects.
The latest version of this cyberimmune gateway allows you to safely combine technological data transmission networks with corporate ones, thereby ensuring reliable communication between segments and the transmission of diagnostic and analytical information from machines and other industrial equipment to information and analytical systems. That is, with KISG, you can safely connect industrial, medical and other equipment to clouds and business systems.
Kaspersky Lab plans to expand the set of development tools with other KasperskyOS-based products.
