Pilots practiced flying along a given course in the absence of landmarks

Crews of Tu-142MZ long-range anti-submarine aircraft of the Pacific Fleet conducted training flights over the Sea of Okhotsk and the Pacific Ocean. The pilots were searching for submarines of a mock enemy, the fleet's press service reported.

The pilots practiced flying along a given route without landmarks and the absence of ground-based radio navigation equipment.

  • RM-1 type naval mines
