The LADA Vesta assembly line has been temporarily stopped. Workers have been sent home. This was reported by insiders. The reason is a force majeure on the painting line. Problems arose with the cataphoretic primer.
Bodies will not be painted for the time being. It is not yet known how long this situation will last.
What exactly happened is unknown. It is claimed that all measures are being taken to restore production.
As a reminder, a car is produced every 25 seconds from all three AvtoVAZ assembly lines. This was proudly announced at SPIEF by the head of the auto giant, Maxim Sokolov. With the start of mass production of LADA Aura, this figure will decrease and reach 22 seconds.
