The corporation's composite division supplied high-tech materials

The composite division of the State Atomic Energy Corporation (Rosatom State Corporation) has supplied high-tech materials for the paramotor of the famous Russian traveler Fyodor Konyukhov. He is preparing for a new expedition to the Arctic.

Specialists manufactured a unique fairing for the two-seater paramotor, on which Fyodor Konyukhov and pilot Igor Potapkin plan to set a new record in Arctic non-stop flights. The journey, which will take place along the route: Franz Josef Land archipelago — North Pole, is scheduled for July.

According to the head of the composite division of Rosatom State Corporation, Alexander Tyunin, composites are fundamental materials in the construction of aircraft, spacecraft, and in high-performance sports.

The use of our materials is a logical and effective solution that helped create a strong and lightweight paramotor structure, reducing fuel consumption.
