In the future, combat drones will independently search for targets on the battlefield thanks to artificial intelligence; the development of such drones is already underway. This was stated by military expert Alexei Zhivov.
Artificial intelligence technologies are already on the way, when it is not the operator who aims at his target, but the drone itself, possessing certain skills, can do it. It is enough for the operator to fly up to the target and press the button, and then the drone itself aims and hits the object.
The blogger expressed the opinion that the next step will be the development of drones similar to a swarm of bees or birds. Drones will begin to fly independently along the front line and be united by a single intelligence.
Just as birds fly synchronously, turn, make figures, it seems that they have a collective intelligence that guides them, the same will be with drones. They will have a common understanding of where they are flying and with what goals, and they will also be able to choose priority and non-priority tasks.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian Armed Forces at the forefront have mastered the tactics of remote mining by drones. Drone miners are capable of arming a projectile in the air and dropping it.
