Немецких автодилеров подозревают в поставках люксовых машин в Россию

Security forces conducted mass searches at their offices

Police conducted mass searches of offices of several car dealers in the German city of Germersheim. Businessmen are suspected of illegally supplying luxury cars to Russia. This is reported by the prosecutor's office of Kaiserslautern.

About 190 deliveries of cars to Russia went through Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Belarus, law enforcement officials believe. It is claimed that evidence of such deliveries was found. It is not stated which cars were sent to Russia, it is only known that these are luxury cars.

It should be reminded that the European Union has banned the supply of cars with an engine capacity of more than 1.9 liters and more than 50 thousand dollars to Russia - more than 4 million 248 199 rubles at the Central Bank rate on June 27 of this year. However, the ban did not apply to the supply of cars to Belarus, so European dealers sent cars there.

Earlier www1.ru wrote that Geely banned Chinese dealers from selling Zeekr cars to Russia, but deliveries may be carried out through Belarus.
