The Gumich company, with the participation of Rostec specialists, has developed a universal robotic tracked platform "Impulse-M" for installing combat modules, such as ATGMs. The corporation showed a video of the combat robot's tests.
The Impulse-M complex implements various types of operator communication with the robot, which should ensure its high resistance to interference in the operating conditions of enemy electronic warfare systems.
A technical vision system and elements of artificial intelligence (AI) have been implemented in the combat robot. If communication with the operator is lost, the Impulse-M will independently return to base.
During the tests, the robot demonstrated movement over rough terrain, overcoming fords and trenches. The Impulse-M also lifted a load up a hill and crossed a ford with it.
Features of the combat robot from Rostec:
- Length — just over 2 m
- Load capacity on a horizontal surface — about a ton
- Load capacity at an angle of 30 degrees — 500 kg
- Repair in the field
- Tracked chassis
The Impulse-M was created in several versions: for military and civilian purposes.
