Not far from AvtoVAZ's scientific and technical center in Togliatti, attentive citizens filmed an all-wheel drive crossover. The car with taped-over badges resembles a Chery crossover in its front end. It is likely that this car could become the future XCITE X-Cross 8, which was planned to be sold in Russia soon.
It's worth noting that representatives of "Avtozavod St. Petersburg" stated that in addition to the front-wheel drive XCITE-X Cross 7 (renamed Chery Tiggo 7 Pro), the company would assemble a second crossover model, but with all-wheel drive. Most likely, this will be the Chery Tiggo 8 Plus, which was photographed on the streets of Togliatti.
Chery Tiggo 8 Plus differs from the Tiggo 8 Pro and Pro Max, which Russians are accustomed to, with its unique front-end design with original headlights and bumper.
Let us remind you that AvtoVAZ has a direct relationship to the XCITE brand. The cars were supposed to be called LADA X-Cross, but due to Western sanctions against the auto giant, it was decided to abandon this idea.
