Russians have shared how much they are willing to pay for mobile communication and the reasons they are ready to switch operators. The joint survey was conducted by "VTB" and "Otkritie" banks.
It was found that half of the Russians surveyed (49%) pay about 600 rubles monthly for internet and mobile communication. More than half of the respondents (54%) expressed a desire to pay less.
30% of the people surveyed pay from 600 to 1 thousand rubles per month. Of these, 21% spend over 1 thousand rubles.
Most Russians find the current prices for mobile communication relatively comfortable, although they would prefer to spend less. Therefore, it is important to provide subscribers with the opportunity to choose options that are important to them and отказаться от ненужных.
Only 8% of respondents called a monthly tariff of 600 rubles comfortable for paying for internet and mobile communication, 30% are willing to pay 800 rubles for services, and only 3% agree to pay more than 1000 rubles.
The largest amount of spending on communication services was recorded in Moscow and the Moscow region, followed by the North Caucasus region (30% here pay more than 1 thousand rubles).
In the Ural and North-Western regions, inexpensive tariffs are popular — 31% pay from 200 to 400 rubles.
It is worth noting that 49% of respondents pay for mobile communication services only for themselves, and 47% for themselves and family members. Only 5% of respondents said that their employer or relatives pay for them.
More than half of the study participants (53%) stated that an expensive tariff plan and alternative offers are a significant reason to change mobile operators. For 22%, the main thing was the quality of communication, and another 15% of respondents said that fast internet is key. The remaining 7% of Russians surveyed agree to отказаться от услуг оператора из-за спам-звонков.
The survey was conducted among users from Russia in the age category from 18 to 60 years. The study involved 1.5 thousand residents of Russia from cities with a population of over 100 thousand people.
