Deadly "Beregok": B05Ya01 combat module adapted to fight kamikaze boats

"Beregok" is capable of detecting BEC at a distance of 3 km at night and 8 km during the day

Russian military personnel began using the universal module B05Ya01 "Beregok" to destroy high-speed, low-visibility unmanned boats. Military expert Evgeny Damantsev pointed out the undeniable qualities of the combat device.

Initially, the combat module was intended to modernize light armored vehicles, such as BMP-1, BMP-2, as well as to equip objects of armored vehicles of domestic and foreign production such as BMP, BTR and BMD.

"Beregok" has been adapted to eliminate sea boats with 9M133M-2 missiles with a range of 150-8000 m, as well as from a 30-mm 2A42 automatic cannon.

Target detection is carried out in the visible optical and infrared ranges using the B03S03 "Sodema" multi-channel sight-aiming device operator. It is capable of detecting an unmanned boat at a distance of about 3 – 3.3 km at night.

In the daytime TV channel, the detection range of BECs increases to 8 - 8.5 km. The target is engaged at a distance of up to 7.5 km using a semi-automatic laser-beam guidance channel.

"Beregok" also has a panoramic commander's sight for preliminary detection of distant targets and target designation for priority targets to the gunner for engaging the "Sodema" sight and the "Kornet" ATGM.
