Russian highly protected tank support vehicles BMPT "Terminator" on the front lines have received supersonic 9M120-1 "Ataka-T" anti-tank guided missiles. This was pointed out by military expert Evgeny Damansev.
"Terminator" covers the advance to positions of less protected BTR-82 and MT-LB armored personnel carriers.
The resistance of the frontal projection of the "Terminator" against armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot projectiles reaches 830 - 850 mm at safe maneuvering angles, which provides guaranteed protection for the crew against such 120-mm kinetic projectiles as the American M829A2 and M829A3.
The technical parameters of the multi-channel sight-operator-gunner are equivalent to "Sosna-U", as are the panoramic sights of commanders. The detection range of "tank" type targets is about 5 km, classification - 4.5 in favorable meteorological conditions.
