Russian military personnel have established a small production of special equipment, including ATVs based on UAZ-3151. This was reported by the commander of a repair and recovery battalion with the call sign Titan.
According to him, the repairmen have modified the UAZ-3151. This model has become lighter, received an improved suspension and reactive links. Shock absorbers were removed from it.
The ATV has a maximum speed of 80 km/h, a range of 400 kilometers, and a capacity of up to 5 people. In terms of driving performance, it is as good as simple buggies.
The ATV will be useful:
- for transporting ammunition
- providing assault groups
- for reconnaissance for the evacuation of weapons and military equipment
The serviceman added that his team of repairmen manufactures 3 ATVs in 30 days.
