Ivan Mironov, General Director of "Avtozavod St. Petersburg," said that the former Nissan plant will begin producing an all-wheel drive crossover in addition to the XCITE X-Cross 7 car.
We plan to launch the second model of the brand in September. We have a plan to increase and develop the XCITE brand. The crossover will be larger, and plus there will be all-wheel drive.
Mironov did not provide any further details, but he did talk about the sales success of the XCITE X-Cross 7 (renamed Chery Tiggo 7 Pro). In the first week of sales, as many as 100 crossovers found their owners. Now "Avtozavod St. Petersburg" is trying to negotiate with car sharing services, taxi fleets, and even the government of St. Petersburg to purchase cars.
As a reminder, XCITE X-Cross 7 crossovers began selling on May 27. The recommended price for the car is 2.49 million rubles.
