Станет неубиваемой: машину огнеметчиков БМО-Т посоветовали дооснастить «супер-мангалом»

Military Expert Romanov: BMO-T with Additional UAV Protection Will Be a Good Help on the Front Lines

Large anti-drone visors on armored vehicles, colloquially known as "super-grills," have begun to gain increasing popularity in the army. This simple but extremely effective type of protection can be seen on T-62, T-72, T-80 tanks, as well as on light armored vehicles used to transport infantry.

According to military expert Lev Romanov, if the BMO-T flamethrower vehicle is equipped with a "super-grill," it will turn into a very good heavy armored personnel carrier on the front lines.

It would certainly be helpful to install a remotely controlled machine gun, as well as video cameras, an optoelectronic suppression system capable of creating impenetrable aerosol clouds, and an electronic warfare system.
Lev Romanov, military expert

The BMO-T has a crew of two and can carry seven soldiers. Romanov suggested that without the standard RPO-A "Shmel" flamethrowers, the troop capacity could be increased.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Uralvagonzavod sent echelons of T-90M "Proryv" and T-72B3M tanks with factory "grills" and enhanced protection to the troops.
