Российские военные применили наземный дрон-камикадзе «Лягушка»

Self-propelled device capable of hitting targets at a distance of over three kilometers

Russian military personnel on the front lines have for the first time used the remote-controlled "Lyagushka" ground kamikaze complex, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

Soldiers attached several mines to an unmanned self-propelled platform, then covertly directed it towards a detected target and carried out the detonation from a safe location. The "Lyagushka" unmanned complex is a simple four-wheeled remote-controlled platform.

The device has a payload capacity of 30 kg, and the built-in camera allows the operator to navigate around obstacles, directing the drone accurately to the target. The "Lyagushka" is capable of hitting targets at a distance of over three kilometers.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that a combat platform "Impuls-M" with ATGM was created for the Russian military. The platform has a modular design, which makes "Impuls-M" attractive for use not only on the front lines, but also for transporting goods in the civilian sector.
