"Barnaultransmash" plans to expand the technological chain of production

The "Barnaultransmash" enterprise (part of the "High-Precision Complexes" holding) increased the production of diesel engines for airborne combat vehicles (BMD) and infantry fighting vehicles (BMP) by more than 20% in 2024.

Also in 2024, as part of the program for technical re-equipment, the enterprise plans to re-equip part of the production workshops and expand the technological chain of production.

Last year, a two-year investment program was launched at the enterprise. It allowed modernizing the production facilities of "Barnaultransmash". In particular, the number of new high-tech machines alone increased by 100 units, and the enterprise also modernized the initial fleet of equipment. The company's output in 2023 increased by two and a half times compared to 2022.

Earlierwww1.ru reported that "Kurganmashzavod" sent updated BMP-3s and BMD-4Ms to the troops. The equipment received additional protection kits, upper hemisphere protection, and means of reducing visibility.
