Весит всего 7 кг: Ростех разработал новый коммутатор связи «ПОЛЕ-МБШ» для военных

"POLE-MBSH" Will Solve the Communication Issue for the Russian Military

The "Roselectronics" holding, part of the Rostec State Corporation, has developed a new "POLE-MBSH" switch to provide manual telephone communication in the field.

The device weighs only 7 kilograms, which is three times lighter than existing analogues. It can operate in a wide temperature range — from -40 to +50 °C.

A key feature of the switch is the connection of up to 20 two-wire subscriber lines with telephone sets equipped with a local battery system. Communication with radio network subscribers is carried out through connection to a radio station with remote control function.

The wired connection system is the safest solution in military field conditions. In the context of modern combat operations, when the enemy actively uses communication suppression and electronic warfare, the relevance of manual telephone communication has increased.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Russian military received a promising mobile dispatch center based on a KamAZ vehicle to control the movement of military vehicle convoys in the rear areas. It is equipped with a powerful electronic warfare system capable of disabling any electronics within a radius of 10 kilometers.
