Против точных атак БПЛА: журналисты Army Recognition заметили Т-90М с новой противодроновой защитой

Российские военные пробуют новые способы защиты от беспилотников

Russian soldiers have pioneered the modification of armored vehicles to counter UAV attacks. The first "barbecue grills" protected military equipment not only from drones but also from ATGM strikes. Now, soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces have come up with a new type of protection, as noted by journalists from Army Recognition.

An image of a T-90M tank has appeared online, featuring new anti-drone protection. Instead of "barbecue grills," the tank's turret is equipped with armored plates covering it. A similar structure rises above the tank's engine-transmission compartment (MTO).

The visor counteracts drones, and additional armor around critical areas, such as the rear of the hull, increases the tank's resistance to precision drone attacks.

Experts emphasize that the new type of protection looks neat and could have been manufactured not in a makeshift manner, but at factory facilities.
