The official explained the problems by western sanctions, which threaten Uzbek banks in case of servicing users of the "Mir" system. He stressed that a solution to the problem needs to be found.
It should be reminded that the "Mir" payment system was founded in 2015. In February of this year, its operator fell under Western sanctions. After a while, some banks in Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Kazakhstan stopped serving users of this system.
