Russia Jams GPS Guidance Systems of Excalibur and M142 HIMARS Missiles: West Acknowledges Ineffectiveness of American Missiles

British Analyst Mercouris: HIMARS MLRS Does Not Function Properly Due to Russian Jammers

American 155 mm M982 Excalibur missiles and rockets for the HIMARS (MLRS, GMRLS, ATACMS, PrSM) multiple launch rocket system proved ineffective due to the actions of Russian soldiers. This was stated by British geopolitical analyst Alexander Mercouris.

The Russian Armed Forces managed to jam their GPS guidance systems. The Russians are successfully jamming HIMARS missiles, as well as the Excalibur projectile.

The West has acknowledged that HIMARS MLRS does not function properly due to the actions of Russian soldiers. Mercouris noted that the Russians are quickly adapting to new US weapons systems.

It doesn't take long - sometimes six weeks, sometimes a little over a couple of months - before the Russians figure out how they work, adapt to them, and can counter them.

The fact that the Russian military is shooting down ATACMS missiles also speaks in favor of their ineffectiveness, the expert concluded.
