Russian mortar crews practiced quickly and effectively hitting targets with the 2B14 "Potros" 82 mm mortar. The exercises took place at a training ground in the DPR, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

The mortar was modernized specifically for assault, it was made lighter — no heavy plate is needed. Two people are needed to operate it, one carries ammunition, the other carries the tube.
