The Russian arms concern "Kalashnikov" has presented the unmanned aerial vehicle "Alpha-E". The UAV will help to collectively use spatial data within the framework of the regional project for the introduction of unmanned aircraft systems.
"Alpha-E" is a universal helicopter with an electric motor with the ability to hover in the air. It is an ideal platform for vertical and horizontal inspections. Assembly by one person takes only 15 minutes, and its compact size allows it to be transported in a car.
Vladimir Markin, Director for the Development of Civil Projects of the Kalashnikov Concern, noted that Rosreestr is actively integrating UAVs into various works, and the task of the concern is to make them even more efficient.
Thanks to "Alpha-E", not only will the speed and quality of work increase, but also the costs of traditional monitoring methods, assessment of damage from natural disasters, aerial photography, mapping, data processing and digitalization will be significantly reduced.
Earlier www1.ru reported that "Kalashnikov" for the first time in detail showed the flight of the advanced reconnaissance UAV SKAT 350 M.
