First Domestically Produced Server with Four Processors Showcased in Nizhny Novgorod

The model is named "Buran SR-242"

The first Russian four-socket server "Buran SR-242" was presented at the "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" conference in Nizhny Novgorod. It can accommodate Intel Xeon Scalable fourth-generation processors.

The device was developed by Fplus. It is designed for resource-intensive tasks that require high-performance computing.

The server occupies two units in a server rack. It can accommodate 16 gigabytes of RAM.

Four-socket server «Buran SR-242»

The "Buran SR-242" is planned to be produced at the Fplus factory in the Moscow region, as well as at other industrial sites in the country. The company has serious plans — it hopes to occupy about 30% of the four-socket systems market within a year. Currently, foreign manufacturers dominate the market for such devices.
