A Russian T-90A tank withstood hits from three FPV drones and continued moving. This was reported by a serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces, a tank commander with the call sign Scooter.
According to him, the T-90A tank was subjected to shelling from barrel artillery, RPGs, and FPV drone attacks.
This vehicle was hit by three FPV drones, but it did not receive any particular damage, it takes the hit. We continued moving and completed the combat mission.
The T-90A is a deep modernization of the T-72B series tanks; the creators significantly improved all the combat characteristics of the vehicle.
Characteristics of the T-90A Tank:
- updated welded turret with "Kontakt-5" dynamic protection
- the upper frontal part of the hull contains a package of combined armor (withstands hits from almost all projectiles in the frontal projection)
- received an armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot (APFSDS)
- received a programmable projectile with a remote fuse "Ainet"
- second-generation thermal imager
- infrared spotlights of the "Shtora" complex (for optical suppression)
